God works in the most wonderful ways, and I love it! I woke up having a rough morning, feeling like my day wasn’t going to go the way I felt it should. When out of the blue, I got a message from an old friend that changed my whole day around. I was feeling doubtful about what I was doing, thinking it wasn’t working how it should and people weren’t fully understanding. The message reassured me that people do notice and appreciate the effort I’m trying to make in bettering myself and the beautiful world we’ve been gifted, and all take for granted at times. I could have taken it as I’m doing so well, and all of this was because of my perseverance, but it actually relayed me back to the book I’ve been reading called “The God Ask.” In this very book, it explains that we need to realize how much we really have been given and take advantage of every day, as we only are able to do anything great in this world because of what God gave us. From the feet we use to walk around to the mouth he gave us to share these thoughts, it was all because of him. I just love how in-depth the work of God goes, and it really just gives you that boost of faith you need when things like this happen. I wish you all can have an experience like this, as I feel more loved and motivated than ever. God Bless!!!!

Brandon Skladzien

Hello to anyone reading this blog! If you havent figured it out through the journey that brought you to this page, my name is Brandon Skladzien. This is also my first blog ever, so bear with me please... Im originally from Wilton, Iowa, where I learned how to throw a ball and ride a bike. Around June of 2014, my parents decided to move to the great town of Maquoketa. Since moving here, Ive only grown from the experiences and challenges around me, along with the great mentors I have met throughout my life here. I am looking to put out the same good energy I wish to be around me every day. I have a strong sense of justice and equality regarding how people should be treated, but I also think its a good quality to be able to respect and learn from the bad qualities other people have. I think I could make a significant impact in the world with a little help from you! Whether it comes to donating or just asking me how my journey is going, it all gives me another reason to keep pushing. Im hoping to meet all of my supporters and share my thoughts, but if not, may God find you well!!!
